Here’s another resort which you may wish to consider or visit if you are going to Puerto Galera. La Laguna has both public and private transportation arrangements which involve the usual car-ferry-boat route.

Coco Beach Island Resort is located in Sabang, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. There are several types of rooms to choose from (standard, deluxe, suite). These are native huts with no airconditioning so you can enjoy the natural coolness of the place. When booking or reserving, make sure to inquire which rooms have a seaview and which don’t have one — if you are particular about having a seaview. A seaview can be very relaxing as I have found out!

The last time I was in Puerto Galera in Mindoro was years ago — even way before I got married. So that long ago. I don’t remember what the name of the particular beach was but it was lined with several small resorts, located right beside each other.
