Bohol appears to be a popular destination here in the Philippines if we base it on the rate at which new resorts are coming up. Eskaya Beach Resort and Spa is the newest addition to the resorts on Panglao Island.

If you are thinking of visiting this resort located at Doljo Beach just like we are, I suggest you inquire and make your reservations early. There are only a limited number of suites available so making arrangements early enough will guarantee that you will be able to push through with your trip.

We were in Bohol in 2004 and during that time, we stayed at Alona Palm Beach Resort and Restaurant. At the time that we booked with them, they were efficient in answering e-mails and in taking care of our reservations.

Bohol is about an hour-and-a-half away from Manila by plane. Its capital is Tagbilaran and is located in the Visayas. It is fast becoming a favorite destination among local tourists and foreigners and with good reason.
