I’ve read that Waterfront Insular Hotel may be the best place to stay in when in Davao. It is located in a prime area and faces the Samal Island.

If I’m not mistaken, you can go to the Pearl Farm from Waterfront Insular. They likewise have a T’boli Weaving Centre at the hotel grounds and this should be interesting to watch. They are likewise situated near the Dabaw Museum.

If you are looking for something else other than beaches, Eden Nature Park in Davao may just be the place for you. Located about one hour from the Davao Airport, Eden Nature Park is situated at the slopes of Mt. Talomo.
